Start planning today for the upcoming East Texas Business Plan Competition. The competition is sponsored by the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute (EI2) and the Tyler Innovation Pipeline (TIP) and is open to all of East Texas.

To serve as the focal point of entrepreneurship education, research and outreach within the College of Business & Technology, across the university and the business community. Addressing all aspects of entrepreneurship, EI2 will have a special focus on women and minority entrepreneurs.
The institute supports all disciplines at UT Tyler as well as entrepreneurs and innovators outside the university by providing the business expertise necessary to bring product ideas and businesses to market and grow existing businesses.

EI² will be a synergistic partner with the Center for Family and Small Enterprises (CFSE) at UT Tyler. CFSE supports family and small businesses by providing a forum for education, resources, advice and counsel, networking opportunities, and interactive programs.
EI² is a partner with the city of Tyler’s New Innovation Pipeline, a major initiative by the mayor.
